Tsagarada is a Pelion village built in the forest at an altitude of 450 meters. The landscape and the harmony of the nature help you escape from the city vibes, while the view of the sea takes you to a small imaginary trip. The tranquility is the "product" offered at this wonderful destination!

The village of Tsagarada has four squares with the square of Saint Paraskevi getting the most attention because of its monumental plane tree and the church of Saint Paraskevi. After a walk in nature to enjoy the rich flora of the area, we stopped for a coffee at the square. There were two cafes, one was from the Lost Unicorn Hotel, but that day it was closed.

We had a quick coffee and we continued to our next stop, Square Holy Archangels, where one can enjoy traditional food. An even more picturesque square (I think my favorite ) with many traditional taverns. We ended up at the Tavern Agnanti . The food was delicious! Very large portions and specialties kondosouvli . Finally we closed our meal with a perfect chocolate souffle . This restaurant was reasonably priced and I recommend it for its large dishes and its friendly staff.

Along the road there are many cafes and tavernas. We first went to Skala Café bar, which was very beautiful and full of character, but unfortunately it was closed. On the opposite there was an equally beautiful cafe was called Art Café. Housed in a beautiful building, petite one but with a very warm atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable and the owener treated us very kindly letting us try her homemade lemon pie, which was delicious.

We continued our walk to the other two squares (Agios Stefanos and Agia Kyriaki ), which were quieter but will also devour you with their nature beauties.

Pelion and especially Tsagarada is a beautiful destination and i totally recommend it for a getaway from everyday life. The body and the mind empties and get ready for the next demanding week.
