Xanthi is one of the most beautiful provinces of Thrace, with special beauty and very nice life. The element that makes it special is the part of the old town where cobbled streets and steep alleys give the feeling of another era.
Having the classic style of the Old Town, the café-bar "Psomi kai Sokolata"(“Bread and Chocolate” in Greek) is one of the most beautiful cafes in the area and definitely worth a visit especially during the winter season. Stone built, on the corner of the street Chasirtzoglou, the interior reminds a lovely chalet. The warm environment, the earthy colors and the special decoration, create a rustic atmosphere and urge people to visit it again and again.
