The mythology Nymphs reside here, Daphne, Eyridiki, Kalipso together with the rest they move harmonically and elegantly across this place, made by Eleni with extra finezza and tranquility.
Ms Eleni, the owner of Nymfes Guesthouse, welcomed us with a delicious handmade liquer to a place of haute aesthetics. A place where art is everywhere, in all its forms, like amazing Nymph paintings of Giorgis Mpadolas, the jazz sounds when you enter, the handmade delicacies and the atmosperic music of our morning breakfast.
This stone jewelry was built in 1923 and turned into a guesthouse during 2008 placed right oposite to Nikeios School and with an amazing view of the whole Nymfaion village. History and images so strong that can give you the essense of the holistic hospitality we were so looking for.
The days we spent passed in a unique way. First of all we resided with another 6 Nymphs very close to us: Daphne, Eyridiki, Faethousa, Kalypso, Filyra and finally Lampetia the name of the room we stayed, who was the daughter of Sun that turned into a tree after her brother died. Next time we would like to try the simple but elegant spa, to warm our wandering souls and also attend one of the unforgetable events with piano and harp that Eleni is organising for her faithful residents.
Breakfast from the Nymphs made our stay even more remarkable. Eleni and Vera prepared with care and meraki, a truly unique breakfast with handmade delicacies, different for every different day of our staying, served in a very warm and unique room of the gueshouse, with the fireplace burning some woods and a view towards the snowy yard. The 100 years old apple tree in front urged us for anoter day of wandering around the historic grounds of Nymfaion village.
Extra tip: before starting your day activities, don't hesitate to gaze from the Liakoto window of the first floor...
