Neion Guesthouse, a project-space residency in Lefkada island.

Νeion Guesthouse is located at the greener landscape of inland Lefkada, almost half an hour from the city of Lefkada. The first feeling, when you arrive, is the retreat of tranquility and relaxation. Within this extensive family property before meetings Dimitra and her mother Machi, the people responsible for what you will see and experience at this beautiful guest house, Oliver the white dog will welcome you waving his friendly tail. 

The girls of the Guesthouse and especially Demeter, who holds a diploma of Fine Arts, have exhausted all their creativity in this stone house to make each corner an inspiration. Space is not only artistic but inspires a sense of home hospitality. Even breakfast includes some homemade delicacies that makes you feel like being in a friend's house. The smells at Neion Guesthouse not only include those homemade tarts with spinach or the tasty paste Flora that capture your nose every morning, but also the smells from the night flowers and the angelic that encircles the house. They make you wonder whether you are in some hidden corner of paradise.

At the back of the guest house you shall find small corners that will help you relax even more and rest in the silence of the Lefkadian nature. Where spiders undisturbed create their textiles in large trees of the garden.

Everything in this area is a piece of creation and art. Dimitra cares about it constantly trying to renew the classic hospitality of a guesthouse with something greater, like seminars and special training sessions that lead to more holistic paths, maybe to our self-awareness.

Neion Guesthouse, is said to be located on the spot where once stood the legendary Ithaca of Ulysses, for this it has taken the name Neion as ie called Ithaca in Homer. This therefore important point on the map is the best place for rest and relaxation, especially when the day includes dives in emerald waters of western Lefkada. I highly recommend it.
