The old Tobacco houses (Kapnomagaza) in Kavala, is a very special sight any traveller or visitor should visit, in order to get an image of alternative preserved monuments in the city. Tobacco houses are also great for photography lovers.
The Tobacco houses, are representative buildings of an economic era, when Kavala was a big producer of Tobacco which was produced, distributed and sold worldwide. You will find building which were constructed back in 1905 and hold architectural and symbolic details of a past century.
